Today was a very exciting day for me. My Panasonic VT50 was delivered with a new A/V Receiver and Blu-Ray player.
The installation was done by Richard Roberge and his colleague. I have to say that I am EXTREMELY impressed with their work. The final result is much better than I anticipated. They did not rush in and out, they took the time to make sure everything was connected properly and working as it should, doing some basic configuration and explaining how the components worked. Jason said that I would be happy with the install guys and I definitely was. These guys were professional, knew what they were doing, and took the time to make sure I was happy with the result.
On top of that, the VT50 panel that they brought was defective with green vertical bands running across the screen after we powered it on, which is obviously disappointing for me after being so excited to get my new TV. Carlo, you have some excellent employees working for you. They went far above and beyond the call of duty to fix this situation. Richard drove all the way back to Orleans and Jason went back to the store on his day off to open it so they could get a new panel, and then they drove back out here to [my end of town] again to ensure that I had my TV up and running in working order the same night! This second model so far is working just fine and is a beautiful thing to see.
I definitely made the right choice by choosing SPO Design and thanks to your dedicated employees, you have earned yourself a long-term and very satisfied customer.

Just wanted to write to thank you for everything, you were a huge help in our home theatre purchase and went far above and beyond what would ever be required of you. Letting us borrow your truck to bring home the items that did not fit in our car was very generous and incredibly appreciated. You saved us the hassle of arranging a truck or renting a van.

As you well know, the world of consumer electronics encompasses a broad range of audio/video components which are constantly changing as newer and better technologies are being introduced to the market place. In light of this dynamic environment in which you work, it has always amazed us how readily the technical and sales people who work for you are able to keep abreast of these new changes and how well they adapt to the new realities.
When we bought our first home theater system from you back in 2003 we were very pleased with it and had been impressed with the technical expertise demonstrated by the staff who had completed the installation. However, eventually discovered that eight years is almost an eternity when it comes to consumer electronics and we were quite surprised to see how much things had changed in that relatively short period of time, notably the introduction of Blu-ray discs and most recently 3D. Once we had decided to upgrade our home theater system there was no question in our mind but that we would again rely on the professional services of Stereo Plus and Design. However, we were a little concerned as to whether or not we'd be able to get all the information and pieces of equipment required in designing our "dream" system. As things turned out, we needn't have worried at all.
To our way of thinking it takes a fair bit of skill for a sales person to be able to explain in layman's terms the major differences between various competing technologies. More importantly, it is crucial for potential buyers to be able to discern which products are most likely to satisfy their audio/visual requirements while, at the same time, staying within budgetary limitations. The professional advice given to us by Claude in a calm and measured way was much appreciated.
When the time came to actually install our 85" Panasonic display panel that's when we really began to get a little nervous. We knew the dimensions of this TV would make this a challenging installation from a physical perspective. We also were aware that some issues might arise during the installation process that might be unfamiliar to the installers. Although there were a few minor difficulties that had to be resolved, again there was nothing that proved insurmountable. In a word, the team of Sebastien, Kevin, Mark, Eric, Craig and even Jason all contributed their unique skills and knowledge to provide us with an installation that we shall enjoy for many years to come. All of these gentlemen impressed us greatly with their professionalism, courtesy, kindness and patience. How they managed to do their work in a thoroughly competent fashion while subjected to the curiosity of two Bengal cats and two anxious patrons shall forever be a marvel to us.
Many thanks for everything and you can be sure that the name of your Company shall figure prominently whenever anyone asks us where we bought this wonderful home theater system.

I must say that I've been regularly visiting SPO for the past three years since I first step foot inside SPO just to see what was behind those tinted glass doors. And even though at that time I didn't have any intention of buying a new TV, Sid (and the staff) treated me like a valued life long customer. He listened to my requirements and answered all my questions on the products that they carried (or didn't) and suggested things to consider when I was ready to buy. He even made recommendations that I could go away and think about and do some research on my own. I must say that while doing my research (over the past three years) on what system would be good for my family room, the information I received from Sid was always correct and unbiased, regardless of who sold what.
In the end, when the time came and I was ready to buy, Sid greeted me at the front door of SPO with a smile on his face and asked hopefully "Is today the day?" and I answered "Maybe if the price was right." Sid provided me with recommendations that would exceed my needs and be within my budget. I walked out of SPO knowing that I'd just bought an excellent complete home theatre system that my family will enjoy for years to come from a group of people who'll stand behind their products and service.
Every time I go into my basement and see my new TV I smile. I'd encourage anyone who is thinking about buying a system, big or small, to take a few minutes to look up SPO. I guarantee you that they will provide you with something that will make you smile in the end.

I had a few friends over to watch the Wild China on Blu-Ray couple weeks ago. They were so amazed of the clarity of pictures and brilliancy of color. We had a wonderful evening just to talk about the advancement of science. For audio and visual equipment, I told them Stereo Plus & Design is a good place to visit. "Sid" the sale person is very knowledgeable. I also told them this wonderful story of how eventually we bought not just one but two systems from you.

Hello Mathieu, and staff at Stereo Plus and Design.
It has been just over two weeks now since my new Plasma TV arrived, and I am THRILLED! The colour, the contrast, and that picture are amazing.
The delivery staff was very helpful by placing the "Laurier Manhattan" entertainment centre in my family room, and unpacking the TV. With some help from my oldest son setting up the TV was straight forward. I attached the Rogers HD PVR box, and once activated was able to watch HD programming right away. It took a little longer to hook up my DVD player, CD player, receiver, turntable (yes, I still have one), and game console. They all look and sound great together.
I appreciate the time and patience you took with me to explain the different formats, and the strengths of each.
I am sure that I will drop by from time to time, and will definitely recommend you and your business to friends.

I'd like to take this opportunity to thank-you for sending Julien and his colleague out to our residence (last Friday) to replace the ARCAM unit with the Pioneer Elite (VSX-94TXH) receiver/amplifier and the Blue Ray Player (DMP-PD30). I was expecting the Yamaha (RXV-3800) receiver/amplifier that Stephane said I'd be getting but Julien has assured me that this is better. Please convey my appreciation to Julien and his colleague for their professionalism and expertise, which was well displayed. These two gentlemen were very courteous. They did not rush the work that they were doing for us by any means. Julien had noted that there is an antenna problem with the receiver for the radio stations and that he is going to address this separately and get back to us. We would like to familiarize ourselves with the system (and the Control 4 unit) for the rest of the week and get back to you with issues later.

Hi, I just wanted to send this note to express my appreciation for the service and unbelievable customer service your company has shown me.
When I first went to your store I was a little nervous about talking to a place who is in the state-of-the-art surround sound systems. I was worried about not being knowledgeable about TV's and surround sound systems. I then meet Jason Miller who is not only your General Manager but I would say one of the most easiest people to like and he put my fears to rest with his excellent demeanor and friendly attitude. Jason got me exactly what I wanted and I would say your prices can not be beat. Jason walked me through every thing I needed and then even though I may have asked numerous questions more then once he always gave me an excellent answer.
When I first decided to buy this system I was going to go with a PS3 as opposed to a blu ray DVD and never did Jason mention that this was not a good idea so as to sell me one of your systems. I tried this out and found it is not what I wanted and so when I had changed my mind I has very happy to find out that you would exchange my DVD that I had bought for a Blu Ray system.
Then came the day of delivery, I was very excited and again I meet two of the nicest delivery guys I have meet from any company. Your guys came in and installed my equipment and were quick, efficient and answered numerous questions as well as Jason did. They set me all up and left me with what I believe to be the best system I could ever dream of.
Then came the dread of finding a scratch on the TV after the guys had left, I thought this could prove interesting, but again your company amazed me when Jason said, "no problem I'll have my guys replace the set" UNBELIEVABLE CUSTOMER SERVICE AGAIN.
I will recommend your company to anyone I talk to and I will tell people that they should go no where else but Stereo Plus & Design.

I just wanted to write you a short note to thank and congratulate you and the excellent staff at Stereo Plus & Design. Throughout the years, I have purchased many items, both large and small from your store and have found that the service, knowledge and attention to customer needs offered at your store are second to none. As well, the product range you offer has something for everyone, be they consumers with modest budgets or high-end audiophiles. What’s great is that everyone that walks through the door gets the same attention...
Just last week, I finally took receipt of my most recent purchase, an Arcam CD 192 CD player. I has decided on that unit after a few visits to your store for auditioning and researching and I must tell you that it is an outstanding product! I am re-listening to music and re-discovering my CD collection.
In particular, I would like to thank Jason Miller for his patience and good nature. In the past few years, I have spent quite alot of time with him inquiring about upgrades to both my home theatre installation and my stereo and have always appreciated his opinion and his willingness to consider my needs.
